35 national titles were awarded in Biarritz during the 7 days of competition (October 28 – November 3) of the French Surfing Championships 2022.

Some athletes favorites have won their divisions, but a couple of surprises have to be noted as well during the full week of intensive competition.

Ethan Capdeville, son of the veteran Nicolas Capdeville (2x ISA World Surfing Games champ in 1992 and 2002; Winner of the GOB QS in 2003; 2x European Champ in 1993 and 2002; and 6x French Champion), won the Open Mens divisions, while Mathie Goujon took a massive and incontestable victory on the ladies side.
