One of the upcoming international events of the bodyboarding world is taking place in Acapulco – Guerrero, Mexico, 28-31 August, in Pie de la Cuesta Beach.

The Acapulco Bodyboarding Fest 2024 is an event bodyboarders only offering a competition in four different divisions (Open, Dropknee, Women and Groms) and there’s also a prize money to get the riders amped.

The entry fee is $2,000 Pesos per division. Last  year winners were Alfonso Aguilar (Open), Mack Crilley (Dropknee), Ayaka Suzuki (Women) and Rolando Hernández (Groms). See report here.

For this year one of the main confirmations is French super athlete Amaury Lavernhe, bodyboarding world champion in 2010 and 2014. Stay tuned for more.
