Morey Bodyboards teamed up with the legendary Grammy Award winning French metal band GOJIRA and World Champion Pierre-Louis Costes to create a limited edition bodyboard.
French bodyboarder Pierre-Louis Costes, a 2x World Champion, grew up in Hossegor, one of Europe’s most 
iconic surf towns. Just a few kilometers down the coast, Mario Duplantier – drummer of Grammy Award winning metal giants GOJIRA – was raised in the Landes region, surrounded by waves, forest, and art.
The two share more than geography. They share a deep connection to the Ocean, and to the intensity and independence that define both metal and bodyboarding.
It was only natural that Morey, the legendary bodyboard brand behind decades of innovation, would team up with Gojira. Metal has always been part of bodyboarding’s DNA – raw, uncompromising, and shaped by counterculture.
With this collaboration, the people at Morey wanted to celebrate that spirit and channel it into a product that’s both iconic and responsible.
The result is a limited edition board, featuring a silkscreened Gojira logo on the slick, built with a recycled PE core – in line with the band’s strong environmental values.
A tribute to heaviness, waves, and the roots that shaped both men.
