Welcome to the new season of the ETB, bodyboarders! The first stage of the year is just around the corner and will gather the best European athletes.

With three distinct categories in dispute, the Caparica Bodyboard Pro is the first stop of the European Tour of Bodyboard in 2019 and promises to liven the waves and beaches of Almada from April 11 to 13th.

The competition will offer 1000 points (prize of 4000 Euros) for Men, 1100 points (prize of 2000 Euros) for Women and 1000 points for the Pro Junior division.

Last year’s winners Kevin Orihuela and Isabela Sousa, from the Canary Islands and Brazil, respectively, confirm favoritism for the new edition. The Brazilian bodyboarder, holder of 4 world titles, faced this victory in 2018 with a special flavor since it was the first that has pointed out since living in Portugal. At the time Kevin Orihuela pointed out the good organization of the event.

Entries can be confirmed on April 10th, between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm, in the secretariat of the organization, at the beach, and present the following values:

Open – 40€

Women’s – 20 €

Pro Junior – 15€

* Pro Junior athletes competing on Open and Pro Junior divisions just need to pay the Open division entry. 

ETB fee for the entire circuit: 35€

ETB fee for a single event without ranking points: 15€

The event is part of the Caparica Surf Fest 2019 which is expected to be a time of celebration, of competition, but also of socializing, of exchanging ideas and dreams.

PT // Bem-vindos à nova temporada do ETB, bodyboarders! A primeira etapa do ano está ao virar da esquina e promete juntar os melhores atletas em Bodyboard do continente europeu. 

Com três categorias distintas em disputa, o Caparica Bodyboard Pro é a primeira paragem do Circuito Europeu de Bodyboard (European Tour of Bodyboard) em 2019 e promete animar as ondas e as praias de Almada entre os dias 11 a 13 de abril.

Em jogo na Praia do Paraíso, palco da competição, irão estar 1000 pontos (4000 Euros) para os Homens, 1100 pontos (2000 Euros) para as Mulheres e 1000 pontos para a divisão Pro Junior. 

As inscrições podem ser realizados no dia 10 de abril, entre as 18h e 20h, no secretariado da organização, junto ao local de prova, e apresentam os seguintes valores: 

Open – 40€

Pro Junior – 15€

* Atletas Pro Junior que entrem no Open não pagam inscrição na categoria Pro Junior.
