Pipe is officially on for the ladies

The event, organized by Carol Philips,Traci Effinger and Allen Lennard, is held in Memory of Don & Josie Over during the period February 24th – March 4th, 2022. 

Contrary to men’s, it seems the women bodyboarders will have a go at Pipe this season, one day, 8 hour day of completion in 4 woman heats in a traditional priority system, a podium and also able to crown a Pipe woman champion.

The length of the heats, according to the organization, will be determined based on the amount of entries. A minimum of 50% of the entry fees will go to the allotted prize money to be given back to competitors.
