Stay tuned: The 2025 IBC World Tour is around the corner.
The International Bodyboarding Corporation (IBC) is about to unleash the 2025 Bodyboarding World Tour in the North of Africa, from February 1st to February 16th.
Hosted in the coastal town of Anza, Morocco, in collaboration with the Fédération Royale Marocaine de Surf and Taghazout Bay, the opening event of the season will have three divisions (Junior Men, Pro Men, and Pro Women) and a total prize money of 70,000 USD.
Last year’s winners were French Louka Zaninotto (Junior), Brazilian Gabriel Braga (Men’s Pro) and Japanese Sari Ohhara (Pro Ladies). Find the recap here.
The competitive calendar available on IBC website, image below, shows 6 events scheduled for the current season but only half, 3 of them, are confirmed for now. It seems this years’s the tour is missing Antofagasta, Maldivas and even the pool event at Praia da Grama, Brazil, which if you remember was rescheduled to this season from last year.
