Three days of intense competition defined the new Spanish Bodyboard Champions. 

The Canarian town of Gáldar was once again the scene of the Spanish Bodyboard Championship for the sixth consecutive time.

This new edition established Samuel Brito as the new Spanish Open Champion. The Canarian bodyboarder won, in a very tight final, with a final score of 12.43 points. Lionel Medina came in second (11.60 points), Eduardo Rodríguez third (10.13 points), and Javi Domínguez fourth (9.34 points).

In the women’s final, the local athlete Teresa Padilla Miranda took the opportunity to add a new Spanish Champion title to her career. In the final heat she gave no options to her rivals with a combination of 16.00 points. Mar Suanzes, Ana Ruano and María Zarzo completed the podium.

Amaury Lavernhe won the Master Division while David Valladares dominate the Dropknee.

Last but not the least, Ricardo Martel and Mar Suanzes come in first in the U-18 Men and Women Division, Néstor Reyes won the U-16, Jorge Morales won the U-14, and Quimey Zamora were proclaimed champion of Spain in the U-12 Division.
