After winning the Annaelle Challenge back in november (read HERE), the Canarian shredder went to Morocco to win another event, the Safi Invitational.
The organizers of the Safi Invitational, a special event, invite a few Moroccan rippers along with an international field of riders such as Maxime Castillo (France), Ethan Capdeville (France), Simone Macera (Italy), António Saraiva (Portugal) and Armide Soliveres (Canary Islands) for the competition draw.
The final day and the 40 minutes long finals were held at night on the legendary waves of Rass Lafaa, one of the best surf spots in the world, an absolute “dream come true” for so many surfers and bodyboarders.

In terms of results, Armide Soliveres, 2024 world champion and 4x European champ, came on top with a total of 14,40 points, beating local boy Badr Chaljri, who placed second with 13,35 points, and Frenchman Maxime Castillo, in third, with 10,35 points. Moroccan Achraf El Chazi was fourth with 9,40 points.
“This has been an unforgettable experience. Thank you once again, Morocco, for giving me these opportunities. To compete in these waves and having the adventure to do it at night is something truly incredible that I would love to repeat. Thank you for inviting me, congrats to all the athletes and public! Until the next time!”, said Armide.
