Quemao Class brought together some of the best bodyboarders of the world to face one of the most powerful, dangerous, and breathtaking waves in Europe – El Quemao in Lanzarote, Canary Islands.
This is a one-of-a-kind event where surf and bodyboard share the same wave, creating an unforgettable spectacle with riders from across the globe performing in the Lanzarote beast.
Youngster David Pérez, from the Canary Islands, took the win in the 9th edition of the event, in solid and clean conditions, delivering a high-voltage final heat in front of an electric and passionate crowd.
“Thank you to all my colleagues, friends, girlfriend, family, and organization for making it so special!”, wrote Pérez on his Instagram account.
