As we write this article the Europeans bodyboarders are heading to the last stop of the European Tour of Bodyboard (ETB).

The Morocco Bodyboard Pro 2023 will have three divisions (Open Men & Women, Pro Junior Men) and it will take place in Dakhla, in a spot called West Point, between December, 15-17th. The Fédération Royale Marocaine de Surf has announced that the total prize money for the last stop of the ETB Tour is 11.000 euros.

Regarding the current rankings, these are presented below and are being led by Portuguese athletes heading into the competition. In the Men’s, Joel Rodrigues (Portugal) is leading the European league by a margin of only 140 points. The Portuguese has one win in Sintra and is followed closely by Peruvian Micheel Yancce, but we’re not sure if the South American will make an appearance.

Spanish young blood Armide Soliveres and Jorge Hernández Cabrera are third and fourth and are ready to surprise everyone in the Moroccan waters.

Filipa Broeiro leads the Ladies ranking comfortably, with two wins in the previews events (Gran Canaria and Carcavelos) and has everything it takes to win. Second place is Mar Suanzes, from Spain, but it is separated by 530 points. Luana Dourada, from Portugal, and Lisa Labadie, from France, occupy third and fourth place in the ranking.

Yubal Perez (Spain) has won the 1st stop in Grand Canaria and is rated #1 in the Pro Junior division. The second event in Morocco will clarify the accounts for the young guns of the European bodyboarding.

Finally, the Dropknee had only one event, in Gran Canaria, and the winner is already found – David Andrés Valladares (Spain).
