A movie-like Quemao Class comes to an end. It has been two intense days full of bodyboarding, with epic wave conditions and impressive performances by all participants.

Marc Lacomere, the second place also highlighted how amazing the wave conditions were, what a great opportunity it was to compete in Lanzarote and that he is very happy with his results.

The final was disputed between Lionel Medina and Armides Soliveres, both from Gran Canaria, Aitor Ojeda, from Fuerteventura, and the local of La Santa Pablo Lecouey.

The public enjoyed a very exciting final in which the Gran Canarian Lionel Medina won with two great waves, a 10 point ride and a 9,35 pts. He said that winning was the greatest achievement of his career and wanted to thank his family for their support.

Pablo Lecouey got second place and also the award for the best bodyboard maneuver. He was also very happy, saying “it is the first time I complete a championship so well, and more if it has been at home, with all my people and my family. Now I hope to repeat next year”.

The Fuerteventura bodyboarder Aitor Ojeda finished in third place and was “very happy to be another year in Lanzarote and to be able to compete in such an incredible event like this to remember David Infante “El Fula”.

The fourth-place went to Armides Soliveres from Gran Canaria, who wanted to thank the opportunity to compete with athletes of this level.
