Between September, 18th to 22nd, La Cícer Beach in Las Palmas received some of the best bodyboarders from Europe for the kick off the 2024 season of the ETB – European Tour of Bodyboard.
Luana Dourado (Portugal), Anas Haddar (Morocco), Yubal Pérez (Spain), and David Valladares (Spain) beat their opponents and became the event champions.
Waves were really small through all days of competition, but the athletes managed their energy and talent to do the best they can in order to achive the best results. A special shout out for a couple youngers like Luana, 15yo and Pro Junior world vice champion, who beat Isabela (5x world champion) and Teresa (Portuguese champion and 2017 European champ) in the ladies final.
Also, in the Pro Junior division, watch out for Vicente Campos. The Portuguese little man, age 13, placed second in the event, but is crystal clear to us that he wants more (way more) for this season.
