Mare Nostrum is a new book by António Fonseca, written and coordinated by himself, celebrates bodyboarding, bodyboarders, and Portuguese waves.
The goal with this new photography yearbook, is to bring together the season’s best images, accompany them with exclusive texts, and once again launch a book that emphasizes the power of Photography.
A unique, independent, bilingual (Portuguese/English), hardcover book, consisting of 116 pages in 22×28.8 cm format, printed on 170gr semi-matte coated paper, where each image tells a story and evokes the bodyboarders’ inner world.
An authentic, striking, and collector’s edition (all copies are numbered). This initiative will only be made possible through crowdfunding , and everyone who contributes will have their name printed in the book.
Among the options available, it’s worth noting that just €5 can simply support the cause, €22 secures your copy of the book (collecting point in Portugal), €26 will have it delivered to your home (in Portugal), and €45 shipped to your home in Europe or rest of the World.
