The best Pro Junior have battle in small waves for the title of the Gran Copa: Marcona Marcobre Pro 2022 “Rey del Mar“, in Peru, the second stop of the Pro Junior world tour.
(press release) In the Men’s Division, Paulo Galatti (Brazil) added 13.50 pts in the final, surpassing Nicolas Espinoza (Peru), who accumulated 11.60 points. The two were very close in the beginning of the heat, with the rider from Peru starting by taking the lead, but in the end it was the Brazilian rider who took a smashing win. The podium was completed with Joel Rodrigues (Portugal) and Ivo Alvarado (Peru), equal third in the competition.
The Ladies Division final was an all Brazilian one. Luna Hartman (Neymara Carvalho’s daughter) defeated Isa Nunes and achieved the first win of the season on the IBC world tour. Peruvian Hannah Saavedra and Brazilian Bianca Simões placed equal third in the event.
