The International Bodyboarding Committee has unveiled their calendar of events for 2026. It will be a mix of new stops along older-classic events that helped to build the tour during the past years, hitting in this new year six different countries across three continents.
The IBC 2026 schedule has a lot of confirmed dates (8), but some are still pending (3). Just like in 2025, the IBC is still sticking with two categories: Prime Series and Rising Series. Confirmed Divisions: Women, Men, Junior Women, Junior Men, Master Women, and Dropknee.

The Antofagasta Bodyboard Festival is back after a one year hiatus. The ABF will be held at a new spot: La Nilda (a heavy left-and-right peak). Plus, this event will host the Dropknee World Championship – crowning the world champ in this discipline. You may also expect heavy barrels, and massive ramps in Pascuales for the new stop in Mexico. The Sintra Bodyboard Festival, the longest runing stop ever in the tour, remains in the scheduled while Gran Canaria keeps holding the final stop at the Frontón arena.

The maths for the 6 world crowns:
Men’s & Women’s Divisions: The title race is wide open. It’ll be based on a rider’s best results (roughly half the events plus one).
Junior Men: Riders have to earn their spot through the Rising Series qualifiers. Only the top 48 make it to the Grand Final at Frontón King in October.
Junior Women & Master Women: The world titles will be decided in Brazil this September.
Dropknee: The champ will be crowned at La Nilda, Chile in April/May.
Stay tuned for more.
