Ali Khushruwan Ahmed won the first ever Maldives National Bodyboarding League after placing 1st in the three stops of the tour. In the Junior division the winner was Aamin Umar Moosa.
On Friday, December 23rd, the final event of the league, the MTCC National Bandufilaa Challenge 2022, wrapped up in Varunulaa Raalhugandu (Malé) with tremendous performances, specially on the last day of competition with the waves and conditions getting really good.
Winners were decided in the Men’s Open, Junior, Dropknee and newly introduced Masters Division, with athletes Ali Khushruwan, Aamin Umar Moosa, Ali Khushruwan and Ibrahim Shimaan crowned champions.

With the end of the last stop, Ali Khushruwan Ahmed and Aaamin Umar Moosa were crowned Men’s Open and Junior Maldives League Winners, respectively.
MBBA – Maldives Bodyboarding Association is the sole governing body of bodyboarding in Maldives and is counting 10 years now. 2022 marked a successful year for the organization with the introduction of a league format, women division, masters division, junior national team and also hosting the first ever IBC world tour event in the Asian continent. xxx
