The Makapu’u Jackstance Invitational ran last Wednesday, December 21st in perfect 2-4ft plus surf at Keiki Corner.

The event, which is organized by the Makapuu Bodyboarding Club and happens in Makapuu, a classic shorebreak beach from Oahu, Hawaii that unveiled many faces of the Bodyboarding world during the 70s and 80s, honors Jack “The Ripper” Lindholm, the pioneer of the Dropknee style, commonly known as the “Jack Stance”.
