EN // Absolutely unthinkable news this Tuesday, just arrived at the Vert Magazine newsroom, states that Kelly Slater, 53 years old, holder of 11 world surfing titles, won between 1992 and 2011, will join forces with Mike Stewart, 61 years old, 9x world champion and 11x Pipeline champion, in the creation of GOAT Boogie Boards.
According to the press release, Science will be absorbed by the existing brands Slater Designs and Firewire Surfboards, and will benefit from their knowledge and worldwide distribution in premium surf shops. Production will also be concentrated in the Firewire factory.
“It is a win-win situation where all parties benefit and where Bodyboarding will enjoy more exposure and visibility”, it can be read at one point.
