After a successful and very busy 2025, the Tahitian Surfing Federation (TSF) had to wait until January to close out the season.

From juniors to masters athletes, the entire Polynesian surfing community gathered Thursday evening to celebrate with their champions. Between reviewing the past year and discussing future projects, the TSF is preparing for an intense year ahead.

The end of the year was so busy for Polynesian surfing that the Tahitian Surfing Federation had to wait until January to present the trophies for the various championships. The ceremony reflected the successes achieved by local surfing in 2025. Numerous champions, both men and women, across all categories, were present to celebrate a remarkable season.

Before the start of this new season, it was time to reward the riders, whether they were tackling the waves in surfing, bodyboarding, bodysurfing, kneeboarding, or stand-up paddleboarding. A comprehensive championship bringing together all watersports enthusiasts, an initiative that made the evening a wonderful moment of shared experience. All generations were represented, as the Polynesian championships are open to everyone.

In terms of bodyboarding, Tahirei Tehei and his companion Sarah Lamotte were flawless in the water and took the highest place of the podium on their divisions, becoming 2025 Polynesian champions.
