What a great day to start the Choice Homes GCBC 2022 Season presented by Amazon Power.
The GCBC Round 1 presented by Inverted was a successful day at D-bah with 2ft waves and clean conditions all day, with the staff providing also free Pilates class and a bodyboard clinic.
The best performance were from the Chilean Diego Berrios with the highest score of the day (7,90 pts) at his semis and at women’s the show was provided by former 4x World Champion Stephanie Pettersen that scored a 7,60 point ride on the final heat.
A special word for Maria Balsemão, Portuguese bodyboarder currently living in Australia, who won the junior division an placed second on the women’s division, right after Steph. Congrats, Maria. We’re keeping an eye on you.
