For those out there with a good memory, let us inform you that former 4x Australian national champion, Joe Jordanoff, has just won the open bodyboarding division of the Channel Islands Surfing Championships.
The event ran this Summer at the Watersplash in St. Ouen’s Bay, Jersey, in fun bodyboarding conditions (2ft waves).
The Australian bodyboarder, who is one of the legends of the sport from the 90’s, was visiting the family at the time, when decided to compete in the event.
Jordanoff finished the final with a total score of 15,44 points (out of 20), surfed really well showcasing clean moves and epic combos.
The Aussie gave a masterclass in competitive bodyboarding, and of course grab the first place of the event, leaving Darreth Morison in second, Colin Crowther in third, and Jo Bennett in fourth. xxx
