“The last bodyboard edit I made before moving south to the big smoke back in late 2018. Filmed over two days on the north coast of NSW not too far from my hometown and the area where I grew up bodyboarding myself.
It was the sport of bodyboarding that originally got me into filmmaking. Was pretty proud of how things came together for this one – Winny (Dave Winchester), an icon of the sport and someone I grew up watching from afar in the Tension films, surfing pretty perfect conditions at a wave where I probably first saw high level bodyboarding for the first time as a teen.”
