In its 7th edition, the Billabong Quemao Class brought together the best international and national bodyboarders on the coast of Lanzarote.

To face one of the most impressive and powerful wave in Europe, the Quemao, was Lionel Medina, from Gran Canaria, winner of the last edition. But the Canarian rider lost in the semis.

After two intense days of competition, awesome waves and impressive performances, Pierre-Louis Costes (France) come out on top, winning the event for the first time with a total score of 17,87 points (out of 20).

Amaury Lavernhe, who had won the event before and knows well the Quemao wave, the Lanzarote’s Queen, come in second, with a pretty tight score, leaving two local boys (Ruyman and Aitor) with the other places of the podium.
