Terry “Teza” McKenna, 60 plus years old, from Newcastle, is a familiar face to bodyboarders. Well, at least for those who used to compete on the world tour.
Teza worked for the APB – Association of Professional Bodyboarders as Tour Manager, and he was a part of the team who organized the World Bodyboard Tour from 2014 to 2019.
The Aussie surfer was always considered a multitask person, known for his work as a beach announcer, live webcast commentator and, imagine, he even had a show on the radio. His voice is not only peculiar but also amazing.
Even so, it was with great surprise that we saw him performing Billy Idol’s Rebel Yell on The Voice Australia, last weekend (check the video on top). Teza really is the whole package and showed you never too old to rock ‘n roll.
