Emie Padois, 12 year-old, is the new force of French women’s bodyboarding (photo on top). Before the contest, her opponent Mathilde Coudeyrat had one goal: to become the first to win four consecutive national titles in the U18 division.
Undefeated since 2021, everyone thought Mathilde Coudeyrat was somehow untouchable. But that was only until Emie Padois made an appearance. After losing in the semi-finals, Coudeyrat left the door open to Padois who was there with a simple task in mind: win the comp.
A few minutes later, despite Lisa Labadie being the big favorite with three wins in the last four editions; Mathilde Coudeyrat (photo above) redeemed himself by taking the win in the Ladies Open division. That was a huge achievement.
Last but not the least, Morgan Le Quellec (photo above) showed up in great form in Hossegor conquering the Dropknee trophy for the second consecutive year in a row- and leaving Martin Mouradian, holder of five titles out of ten, as runner-up in the event.
