International Festival happens in Panama for the third year in a row.
The 3rd edition of the Bocas Invitational will take place from March 4th-10th, 2024. Organizers are expecting more than 70 international athletes and around 30 local bodyboarders.
The inaugural edition of the Bocas Festival was successfully held in February 2022, and again in February 2023 on Colón Island, in Bocas del Toro, a beautiful province located on the Caribbean coast of Panama, renowned for its natural beauty, crystal-clear beaches, and laid-back atmosphere.
First edition was won by Hawaiian Sammy Morretino (Open Division), Brazilian Isabela Sousa (Ladies Division), Portuguese Joel Rodrigues (Junior Division), and Hawaiian Dave Hubbard (Dropknee Division). The second edition was won by Brazilian Sérgio Machado (Open Division), Portuguese Joel Rodrigues (Junior Division), and Hawaiian Sammy Morretino (Dropknee Division).
The 2024 list of riders has not been unveiled yet, but registrations opened on December 18th. Stay tuned for more and meanwhile check the highlights from last year. xxx
