Registrations are not closed yet, and the event will run from January 28th – February 5th presenting a 15k total prize.
Bocas Invitacional is the only bodyboarding festival in Bocas del Toro, Panama. The competition will be taking place at Playa Bluff, considered one of the best beach breaks in the world, and the cast of riders is once again fantastic.
2x World Champ Pierre-Louis Costes (France) and 4x Dk World Champ Sammy Morretino (Hawaii) are confirmed and will be attending the event, along with 3x World Champion Jeff Hubbard (Hawaii).
Other big names like Yazdany Castro (Costa Rica), Sacha Damjanic (Chile), Edwin Nuñez (Panama), Salomon Chocron (Venezuela), Macho Campos (Costa Rica), and Abner de Arce (Puerto Rico) will be also competing in the Caribbean.
Regarding the Portuguese crew, so far eight names have been unveiled: Carlos Elias, Rodrigo Lopes, Joel Rodrigues, José Silva, Pedro Grácio, Bernardo Tomé, Pedro Antunes, and João Ferreira.
