The wave at Punta Blanca, in Tenerife, once again made clear the great quality that this spot has.
The event, organized by the Punta Blanca Club with the support of Guia de Isora municipality, the Canarian Surf Federation and the Spanish Surfing Federation, crowned the local veteran Álvaro Patrón as winner on the bodyboard division.
In the final, Álvaro Padrón (photo above) was one step ahead of young blood David Pérez, David Valladares and Mauro Bolaños. The whole bodyboard action was incredible to watch and made of high level.
This was an unbeatable closing for the Punta Blanca contest that leaves the final standings completely open and to be decided in the next two stops – Faro and Andrín. xxx
